The site formerly known as StarCityPunk.com is back as ArtInsurgency.com.  Since were not focusing only on the Roanoke Valley and not just on music this time I felt a name change was needed. I had ArtInsurgency.com registered for 4 years but let it expire in December and a domain squatter snatched it up so I went with .org this time.

My original concept for ArtInsurgency was to be a sort of guerrilla art collective but I was too lazy to pull that off the way I had in mind. So I put that on the shelf and kind of forgot about for awhile. A few weeks ago I decided to revive SCP but to expand the content beyond music and Roanoke so the ArtInsurgency was brought down off the shelf to encompass all the new ideas and subjects we plan on covering this time around. Music, art, film, books, and basically anything creative might show up as a subject here.
